To me a friend is a family member without a blood tie. A real friend should love u unconditionally be there for you no matter what. I realized Jesus was my friend about 2 years ago maybe a little longer. After my kids were put in foster care n my house burnt to the ground and i felt like i had nothing else to live for. There were days i begged God to take my life and even tried to kill myself by trying to OD on drugs but could not ever get there. Then God made a way for me i stumbled but i was still ok because i knew i was not alone
ReplyDeleteIn the darkest times of need, God reveals himself by keeping us! His unfailing love is more than any human friend could ever give! I am so glad that He kept you and me sister all the more reason to give Him praise and honor Him each day! He is a Keeper and True Friend indeed!

DeleteA friend is someone who may not always be there when I want yet always there at the PERFECT time! I used to get upset when something would be going on and I would reach out to call my friend and get no answer!!! As if they life was on standby just for me. Then God began to show me HIM...how He is ALWAYS there at any time of the day and night. Often times we run to people which is our nature, but God wants us to run to HIM and develop that reliance on Him and trust HIS timing to allow people to be available to us in times of need. Not every situation is meant for people...some are meant to build our faith and trust in God first. It is a joy to have a friend that does not judge, that can sympathize with us and that will tell us the truth even when it may hurt yet help us! Daily I realize Jesus is my Friend again as I can call on Him anytime any day anywhere. Jesus, My Best Friend!
ReplyDeleteA friend is someone who love you in your good times your bad times and love you in spite of your past a friend is someone who not going to sugarcoat the thing that you do that is not positive a friend is someone who can lift you up when you down and out a friend is someone who would let you know that you're doing a good job a friend someone who is always on time Jesus became my friend in 2010 I would never forget that day I feel so alone I had no one to turn to no family no friends so I decided to just lift up my hands and say Jesus I Need You I give you my life I need you as my friend and from that day on we became friends
DeleteThis is so much to understand but Im learning.My mind is wide open.when I need a friend to talk to Jesus will always be there listening all I have to do is open my mind and listen to what he is telling me because Ive never had a true friend growing up after high school.It was always men in my life.Today it is just me learning more about our Father our son and the holy ghost. Now I have a true friend
